Training in Emergency Medicine requires a breadth of clinical and didactic experiences to match the ​extensive spectrum of pathology managed by our specialty. TriStar Emergency Medicine offers this breadth by combining the unique clinical training sites at Skyline Medical Center and Centennial Medical Center, two premier hospitals in Nashville serving distinct populations and communities.

While TriStar Emergency Medicine is a newly-accredited ACGME EM program, our hospitals are deeply rooted in an educational atmosphere, providing interprofessional training opportunities by world-class educators with years of GME-training experience. Skyline Medical Center
As a state-designated provisional Level I Trauma Center, Burn Center, and the first Comprehensive Stroke Center in Tennessee, Skyline offers high acuity emergency medicine training on the Northern edge of Nashville. With more EMS runs than any other ED in the city, the ED efficiently and expertly cares for critically-ill patients.
Centennial Medical Center
Located in the heart of Nashville by Centennial Park, Centennial Medical Center is a quaternary care referral center, and serves patients with complex multi-disciplinary needs including organ transplants, complex heart disease with assist devices, and advanced hematology / oncology treatment.

The Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial
This dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department provides efficient emergency care to patients with 24 hour staffing by a PEM trained physician.
